I am a 25-year-old professional navigating the ins and outs of my career. I was raised and now live in Kansas City where I work in social media marketing and community management for an internet startup and when I’m not at the office, I’m freelancing as a social media consultant and copywriter. Eventually, I see myself moving to NYC, but for now I’m excited to see where my career in Kansas City takes me!

As a young woman with her entire career ahead of her I feel that what I appear to lack in experience I more than make up for in enthusiasm. I am a deeply passionate person with a seemingly unquenchable thirst for knowledge and an overwhelming desire to make this world a better place.

So why am I blogging? I’m glad you asked. As a young professional, I believe I have a unique perspective on the business world because I face challenges exclusive to my generation. The purpose of this blog is to bring some of those insights to light and maybe offer some advice, encouragement, or perhaps just a little humor to people who are in similar situations in their own careers. And while I am writing from the prospective of an entry-level employee, I hope that this blog is useful, or at least entertaining, to people in all stages of their careers.
